7th Annual Cowboy Gathering
May 23-27, 2007
Family fun on a working cattle ranch!
Load up the horses and join us for a celebration at the beautiful Rockin H Ranch!
A celebration made through the smell of horse hair and leather, the authenticity of real chuck wagons and camp cookies, the sereneness of camping under a beautiful sea of stars, the tranquility of a campfire with a coyote serenade and reminiscing of yesteryear with friends old and new.

City slickers, cowboys, and folks from all over the country join us for a thrilling experience that will not be soon forgotten. Endless creek side campsites with easy accessibility and hidden, private locations. Lots of native Missouri wildlife to be seen including deer, turkey and quail.
Cattle Drive & Calf Working!
Rounding up the cattle and working the calves brings out the cowboy in all of us! We'll gather two separate herds and work all the calves before returning the herds to fresh pasture.
AQHA sanctioned trail riding!
Join our daily guided trail rides or venture out on your own to enjoy the beautiful
scenery the Ozarks has to offer each spring. Miles of variable trails on over a thousand privately owned acres. All riders and horses of any breed are welcome!
Chuck Wagons, Camp Cookies & Cowboys!
Authentic chuck wagons showcase their individual expertise and help provide great tasting grub all week! Meals may be accompanied by stories of Jake the Snake
getting into the sourdough starter and where the term "Deceitful Beans" really comes from! Get-togethers around the campfire complete each evening with stories of love lost, hardships along the trail, lullabies to put the dogies to bed.
Chuck Wagon Dinner Theater!
Members of the Missouri Cowboy Poets Association and friends entertain with a re-enactment of the on-going feud between Texas Cowboys bringing tick infested Longhorns through Missouri territory on their way to the rail. Camp Cookie usually ends up getting shot or hung! Open to the general public through advance ticket sales only.
Our Cowboy Games bring the best of competitors out of our campers! Games for all ages including our renowned De-Calf-Alon Competition! Event winners receive a Cowboy Gathering T-shirt or ribbon for that year.
